A premium folding knife, designed for the experienced user.
Every part of this knife was designed to reflect someone who was never supposed to be here, but lights up every room she enters.
The Taryn is named after my little sister, Taryn, who lives with Mosaic Trisomy 9 — an extremely rare condition with only around sixty recorded cases. Doctors expected her to live one year; she recently celebrated her 8th birthday. Her resilience and refusal to be held back inspired a knife built to honour an unbreakable spirit.
Waves that keep coming, no matter what stands in their way.
Beyond texture and grip, the Seigaiha wave pattern carries the meaning of the knife. The waves keep coming no matter what stands in their way — the same relentless determination my sister shows every day. The pattern is milled into both scales, the lock button, and the pocket clip, tying the whole design to a single idea.
A reverse tanto profile with a choil on the spine, where the index finger can rest to choke up for finer detail cuts.
Flat at the thumb studs, tapering into a full flat grind. Chosen to increase slicing capability while keeping a thick, robust blade stock.
A titanium clamshell construction that reduces the need for external body screws, keeping the design clean and integrated.
The single visible body screw on the clip side is a pass-through screw, so the show side scale stays completely clean.
Both scales feature a flat shoulder and border with a milled Seigaiha pattern — texture, grip in adverse conditions, and elegance in one detail.
A top liner lock with a button milled in the Seigaiha pattern, flowing seamlessly across the show side scale — a look that is the first of its kind.
Both front flipper and thumb stud deployment, giving two fast, intuitive ways to open the knife.
A pocket clip carrying the same Seigaiha pattern, with a milling-free area underneath to allow easier in-and-out of the pocket.
